12 Days of BTCC - #11: 1999 Nissan Primera GT

Hey guys,
Welcome to Day 11 of our 12 days of BTCC where myself and Ben take a look back through history and pick out some of our favourite BTCC cars :D

Today's car is the Nissan Primera GT and this is personally one of my favourite cars from the Super Touring Era and my all time favourite car in the series as a whole, this car clinched the 1999 Driver's and Constructors titles for Nissan with Laurent Aiello being crowned champion in his one and only season in the BTCC. Like many other teams of the time this was it's last and final outing in the BTCC before bowing out and just like the Ford Mondeo it went out with a bang didn't it?

Winning 13 races that season allowing the title to be decided only between the 2 Nissan drivers this car was dominant to say the least, it had a great engine sound in Toca 2 (Something which I still stand by to this day as amazing) and was a great car to look at in terms of design and livery too :D
