Hammer Black Widow Ghost bowling ball review

The Black Widow, Hammer’s most successful line, is back at it, this time with a polished pearl that will get a ton of attention. Featuring the famous Gas Mask core and the Aggression pearl cover, this ball will create plenty of angle on medium and heavy oil conditions.

The Black Widow Ghost offers easy length and a strong angular motion on medium and heavy oil.

The Black Widow Ghost offered our tester Kevin a great reaction on our THS. The ball is clean through the front part of the lane and it has a strong backend motion when it sees friction at the end of the pattern.

On fresh oil, the ball offered our tester a lot of recovery when he missed outside and surprisingly the ball had some traction through the oil when he missed inside of target, making it a great option for walled house shots. Once the transition started our tester just had to move left a couple of boards to chase some oil and the ball was offered enough recovery to make it back to the pocket.

This will be a perfect complement to the Hammer lineup and a great weapon when you need more shape down the lane. The Black Widow Gold is a great ball to open up the lane and play steeper angles.
