Coneheads: The Garthok Battle

Now back on his home planet, Remulak, Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) is accused of treason and has to fight a Garthok in an arena fight.

Movie Description: An alien couple known as Beldar and Prymatt with cone-shaped heads from the planet called Remulak is mistakenly ditched on earth, during a scouting mission for planet conquest. While here, they dodge the INS, have a child and discover that life on Earth is quite good. But unfortunately they are being chased by the government who knows something is not quite right with the Conehead family. After they are rescued and taken back to their planet, Beldar vows to return to earth and conquer it.

This is a Fun Movie. I saw an interview with both Dan Ackroyd & Jane Curtin, where they said that making this movie was very difficult for them because of the character speech (The SNL sketches were only minutes long. This thing took Weeks). I appreciate their Efforts and their Talent...besides, it still works 30 years later.

I love that the second guy's assertion is so ridiculous to the protagonist, he literally takes a break from being literal and is blatantly sarcastic. "Uh huh. And let me know when Elvis gets here."

Sarcasm on that level is quite rare for him.
