Vice President Kamala Harris sat down with Alex Cooper, the host of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. During the interview, Cooper asked Harris about Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders recently suggesting the presidential candidate isn't humble because she doesn't have biological children.

I loved this conversation! I am a retired Special Ed. teacher. I provided services to elementary children for 25 years of my life. I was also a foster parent for 3 years. As a lesbian, who never gave birth to a child, I found Sarah's comment so offensive and out of touch. Thank you all for speaking up for those of us belittled by these self-righteous bigots who put themselves on a pedestal. I so appreciated Kamala's reaction to Sarah's comment!

It works both ways. When I married my second husband he had no children. My daughter ASKED my now husband if he would be her daddy before he had even asked me to marry him. (She was 3yrs old). She has always called him daddy, now dad because she is in her fifties. Biological parentage has nothing to do with real love.

Families come in all shapes and forms. I have no problem not having biological children. Kids don’t make a person humble. How dare Sarah Huckabee put Her children making her humble. Stop it. Just stop it. Children need to be children, children who aspire to grow into their own abilities. Not grow up thinking they need to help their parents FEEL humble. Why not put more stress on a child to help YOU, those children need to be guided by you, the adult, the parent, the teacher to instil in them how they should be taught the world is their future. Becoming independently stronger through the assistance from their parents etc. Let kids grow into their own and don’t put your lack of self confidence on them. Sarah, shame on you.
