Steampianist - Guiding Light feat. TBK

2nd track for my free unnamed E.P., for now

it's an indirect sequel to Cruelty of Hope. A fading wisp approaches
a light goddess, similar to mother in the last song, asking to be made into a world
however the goddess had countless of her world destroyed leaving her sullen and feeling
inept to weave life once more.

So I have a theory... what if the “fading wisp” thing is actually Oliver from the cruelty of hope and the “light goddess” is that light he was seeing in the first song. And he leaves his home/lamplight to go follow his “silent star” and when he gets there it turns out to be the goddess from this song. And she ends up creating a new world for him different to the one that the old “mother” had made for him in the beginning. Idk it’s probably dumb but hey 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I like to think that this light goddess is the Allmother's true form, and the wisp is the doll from the first song. The goddess has lost most of her hope after all her failures, including Lamplight, but the doll still exists because he's still clinging onto his hope. He wants her to try again by using his hope, and she finally agrees. At least, that's what I believe these two songs are telling us.
