Yep that's why I like Bruce Bochy as soon as a reliever doesn't have it he pulls them immediately always he dont wait around

Hi, Mike, I lived in Poughkeepsie from '89-95 and even though I'm a Philly sports guy I enjoyed the hell out of your show and your insights. For years my football Sundays could not begin without your 9 a.m. pregame show, which I still miss. Glad to find and enjoy you here now! Now I want to have some tequiler!

Stanek should have started the 8th at 11 pitches

Disagree Mike. Their 1-2-3 is their most dangerous part of the lineup. You go to Diaz there and figure out the 9th. Mendoza made the same mistake on Monday. Maton should not be in these spots

"They shut down Milwaukee's running game?" Jesus Mike...😅😅😅

What do you guys expect? The Mets' Bullpen has been shaky all year and there wasn't a proper setup guy to get to Diaz all year: grittiness, pluckiness, can only take you so far; you're going to need talent eventually!

How do you bring in soft tossing Maton after Stanek was blowing hitters away on like 12 pitches???

Maton has been good since being called up, stop, always after the fact, Brewers are a good team, they made a run.

Mike, he couldn’t take him out after the homer. He has to pitch to 3 batters

Diaz gave up a homer the other day, and he stayed in the game. GET LAWST MIKE.

Has Alonso done anything in the past 2 months. He came up twice with men on base and struck out. Of course got a hit later with 2 outs and nobody on.

Should never put Maton in
Stanic was throwing hard…. And then not to get him out after the 2nd hit of the inning ???

'The Brewers need runs to go ahead and win the game!!! How are we going to win!!????' Phil Maton overheard the conversation and said 'Hold my wine cooler!' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don"t see the Mets come back from that tough defeat...

Theres Little Leaguers they would crush Maton's pitches. A 77mph curve over the plate is laughable

Mets had leadoff runner on so many times and couldn’t pad the lead… that’s where this game was lost. Had this team dead and buried and just could not add to the lead despite so many chances! Other then that Mendy made rare mistake not going Diaz in 8th w top of order that’s where you throw Sugar EVERY TIME! If he makes easy work 1-2-3 he comes back out for 9th if it takes 5 batters 20 pitches whatever you go someone else against 6-7-8 in 9th

Bench Alonzo, he has single handedly cost the Mets wins all season long.

Hey Mike, I have been around for 80 years and I have seen many Great & Thrilling Baseball Games in my time But this Game was in No Way a Thriller, as you say! Come on Mike, Tell it Like it is! Being a Brooklyn Dodger and MetFan all my Life, I will Not be Shocked if they lose this one!

I also told my wife we were going to lose 3-5. Then we lost. Will tell everyone I can predict baseball after games end 😂
