i am very new to minecraft, decided to try it out finally on my xbox. i was just wondering, what's the reason behind putting torches underneath the carpet? does it make it glow, or does it keep the igloo "warm"? i have yet to explore the icy parts of the maps! p.s: some tips may seem very self explanatory and whatnot, but for beginners like me these tips are really useful. i didn't think to use berry bushes around my base.
