Just stumbled on this video, I've been reviewing for a year or so, it started as a college product and it's a great way to gain free products/help companies with reviews. Been receiving hundreds and hundreds of products, deliveries everyday. Amazon's policy has changed in the US and they aren't allowing free products in exchange for reviews unless it's through their own 'Vine' service.

I live in the UK and the policy is due to come here but a lot of companies still do it so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Only problem is, the more people who review are going to be noticed in the reviews on Amazon meaning Amazon will slowly clamp down more on the reviewing as a lot of members post unbiased 5 star reviews and it's unfair on actual customers.

Good thing to get into though if you do it properly and hopefully it'll stay in their policy.

Amazon changed its reviewer policy a couple of weeks ago. Sites like AMZ Review Trader and all others are no longer allowed to offer items for free or at a discount in exchange for reviews and people are not allowed to post a review in exchange for a product they received for free or at a discount in exchange for a review. AMZ Review Trader has even had to change its name along with the other review sites. They still offer products but the discount isn't very much and the selection is very low. Only top reviewers will be selected because there is absolutely no obligation to leave a review. These sites are now known as "discount sites'.

Went to the AMZ site and signed up. Unfortunately the prices for everything I looked at were prices I could already buy the products for. They would say 50% of but I know the product and they are charging full price. And I saw nothing for free. Looked through about 300 products and signed up for 2 (that I would have bought anyway). The rest were just full price from what I could tell.

This is so unethical and evil for honest shoppers. Reviewers just want to kiss ass and almost always give the product 5 stars no matter how bad it sucks.
