I was in a tough spot for months, and I got by from using about 20-30 food apps and putting a different month for my birthdays. I had about 5 apps per month of free food. It doesn’t hurt anyone because you’re still going to only use it once a year, you’re just putting a different date than your birthday. And I got lucky sometimes, like Frischs gave me my free burger but didn’t scan the coupon, so I got 2 free ones haha.

I’ve been doing this for a while. I hate that the free drink from Starbucks was only valid on my birthday. Most places is good for a week, a month or 30 days after your birthday. Check expiration dates on free items.

for those who are struggling: try to go to your local pizza place at closing time, and if it’s quite obvious you’re homeless/struggling we’ll give u a few slices of any leftover pizza we have or if you’re a regular who’s struggling & u always come in a few times a week and we don’t have leftover pizza we’ll make you a small pep or cheese. it all depends on the employee but personally idc abt my job enough so I make them free mini pizzas and give them whatever sauce they want. you always have to put yourself in others shoes and be kind. just imagine you’re them…you wouldn’t want someone to tell you to piss off and starve
