For the ogre its actually 25 total to start damage and each side drops 14. This allows you some wiggle room to miss 3 engrams and still hit damage phase

I can get to the orgre no problem but I do absolutely no damage. I well above the recommended light level and use the merciless rifle but it still takes an eternity to do anything to the boss.

Getting heavy is the hardest part of this dungeon. Just tried it again and died because of a dumb jump fault and fell in the water at the last wuarter of avoroks health. Tip for the shield part: you can just shoot the charge station once to activate the cannon.
As for last boss, you can get 20 burdens at a time when you run through them fast. Not picking up the cannon let's it stay there forever so no vandal spawns.

if you're using solar titan it's easiest. using the weakened clear and solo operator season mods and loreley splendor helm, you will be nearly un-killable and do insane damage. just use witherhoard, a solar smg, and cataclysmic. for the final boss use your super to kill the shank and vandal miniboss and then use your heavy on the boss itself

Damn I got to that 1st chest with vandal with a scorched cannon, and it gave me absolutely nothing, but a glimmer! Felt like I’d been mugged…

I don't understand how people are doing the ogre in like 2 phases. I run a well of radiance warlock with fusion grenades and a linear fusion rifle/witherhoard just like he said and it has taken me up to 5 phases to try to kill him. Such a frustrating encounter.

Good vid. New player here and this just looks like waaay too much bs to even think about doing solo. Who came up with this crap of a dungeon? Jump her..now jump up two things and hit a random lever, now run back but dont step here.... how about making hard fights and not a list of crap to memorize that is no fun at all!

It’s very frustrating getting almost to the end of a no spawn level and having to start from scratch because I wasn’t able to nail a triple jump w zero error margin. I am using a hunter with void subclass and I can triple jump, I can’t do this gliding business where you cover extensive distance w seeming ease! Am I using the wrong class? This is just way too much trouble for me, not what I’m looking for when I play Destiny 2….

its like bungie went out of the way to make the least fun activity possible and then making it cost 25 bucks. i wish i could have gotten a refund on this waste of time. easily the worst experience in destiny history so far

What I have learned attempting my solo flawless

One : the crystal formations can actually kill you, was standing on one avoiding melee enemies when i was desposting only to have it "build" me into the ceiling killing me instantly

Two : the margin for error for the sparrow section was not nearly as large as I thought it was, having several runs get wrecked on the capture point not being 100% filled

Three : the ogre sometimes likes to turn you into a astronaut. One at least 3 runs during DPS the ogre somehow launched me so high into the sky I started hitting a turn back zone only to smack me as I was falling back to earth.

Four : sometimes the game will simply not drop you sword ammo regardless if you run two sword ammo finders AND enhanced sword scavenger. Had multiple runs where I would go through entire DPS cycles on both the ogre and the captain where not a single enemy dropped a heavy brick.

Had my friends watching me stream this and they laughed at first but then just got quiet saying that it was just depressing seeing all these weird glitches and interactions they didn't even know could occur.

I have 3 issues; 1 - my game says it's currently recommended for 1600 level, I'm like 1650 and can barely kill things, 2 - I hate platform games where it's leap and leap and leap and leap and fall die rinse repeat, and 3 - I'm too old to "git gud"! It was at three minutes and 30 seconds into following this and repeatedly bouncing off the mouth of the far tunnel that decided that this mission is not for me ;)

My fireteam keeps leaving me because I'm bad. Just want the thorn armor and Galahorn. Annoyed me I payed for cosmetics for it to be locked behind something hard

Just beat the ogre solo! Took me 4 days and hours of trail and error. Used my void hunter double smoke bomb combo to stay out of sight and devour kept me alive. Le void bow and asmoic grenade launcher

Running this same exact void build (or close to) at power 1760, it's great. Allows me to constantly have vortex nades.

Sucks that old content is still impossible to do by 90% of the playerbase. Maybe one day they will make these easier.
