It pains me that people miss the beauty of this scene, because they watch it out of context. If I hadn't watched the show I might have also thought this scene seemed strange. But having watched the OA, it is one of the most beautiful shows I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

I still get my eyes watery whenever I see this scene. It was perfect.

I remember when I saw it for the first time, and just when they started to look to each other while being down I screamed: THEY'RE DOING IT.

Add the beautiful OST and I started crying like a child just for the pure emotion of the moment.

I love this scene so much because it takes something completely and utterly ridiculous out of context and makes it really deep and captivating for those invested. It’s just so well done in so many ways and it’s one of the most memorable scenes in any show I’ve watched personally.
