I have a question for Q1, cii ( 11:31 ), a number to the power of 0.5 is sqrt, right? which means the sqrt can be positive or negative. does this mean that if the sqrt of P was negative, and was multiplied by -2, x would be positive? Thank you for the video.

Hello sir, regarding question 2b (22:10), would -6 not be viable considering the log base can not be negative?

Hi I have a question, how do you know that there must be two solutions for Q3cii? You mention that the discriminant must be positive but why can't it be equal to or be less than zero?

would you mind explaining Q 3c(ii)? Why must the descriminant be positive (I get it makes two solutions but why does it need two solutions?) and why must D be a square number? Thanks

Hi I have a question, not sure if you’ll see this but for question 1c(iii), why do you have to make p the subject to get an e8/ two excellence marks? Isnt 16P^1.5>R just the same statement? Thanks for the video though :)

How can we solve quadratics to find the value of x without the calculator?

for Q3cii, i get why the discriminant cant be negative but why cant it be equal to zero? is it because 187/12 isn't an integer? and even if it was an integer, does the question necessarily have to have 2 roots (days)?
