They've played in drop G, A, A#, C#, D and E standard over the years. The lower ones are definitely the coolest sounding.

I personally like this version but then again I'm a huge 7 and 8 string fan and I think that a 7 string makes every sound better haha

I bet this will totally be the next remake song they do, because I noticed the chord progressions are different AND the tuning is lower. Not to mention kyo added extra lyrics and also didn't follow the original song as much. (more screaming than the original)
Or maybe that was because of his strained vocal chords, idk, but I could tell it wasn't doing so well when it broke and kind of cracked in the middle of the song

well, i used to listen to them a few years... (since 2006)...
i have to admit that i really like the live symphonic ver./interpretation of "mazohyst of decadence" ...
but all other re-interpretations like "zan" "hydra" etc. were in my opinion not necessary... cause they were good songs!

.. and i have to say that i really HATE the new version of "obscure"..

prefer the original... from "gauze" ...
their deep A or C-tuning messed all the harmonies!
and the live performance '99 osaka hall was the best!

sorry.. but i have to say that his voice skills have been decreased since last 5 years----
