What if Project Resurrection is not only the resurrection of Palpetine. It's resurrecting ALL dead Sith Lords. Didn't Darth Plaguis, who I think was able to wake the dead, EVERYTHING HE KNOWS to Sideus? I'm just speculating here.

Go read the Empire's End books. When Palpatine died he set into motion a plan disguised as a means to restore the Empire. I don't think it was ever given a codename but Ressurection seems suitable. However the aim was actually to push the Empire into a state of collapse because Palpatine felt that if he ever died it was because the Empire was too weak to protect him and therefore, by usual Sith reasoning, needed to die and be replaced by something stronger. That is why in the books you discover that for a long time the Emperor had been gathering together the best and brightest of the Empire with the intent to send them into the unknown regions where they would become the First Order.

Also the Battlefront II campaign blew. All the hype as playing as Inferno Squad and the Empire leading to the First Order. Then only to play as Versio for select lvls before she turn traitor and then your stuck playing her as a rebel.
