I remember watching John Bonham’s drum solo at the end of Rock and Roll and thinking the producers must have sped the film up because nobody can move their arms that fast and still maintain control! It still amazes me to this day!

…is anybody else hearing Jones here…during Celebration Day? Not only is he providing bass, he’s essentially the band’s’ second guitarist - with those seriously mad picking chops. He and Bonzo provided a whole other sub concert - behind the other two out front. The sound and energy the rhythm section created was unique. Nobody could ever touch them. Ever.

This is why led Zeppelin is my all time favorite band. And I saw them from 6th row at Chicago stadium 1977. Need I say more? Jimmy is my biggest influence on guitar playing. Led Zeppelin was a phenomenon, a force to be reckoned with. Never get tired of this.
