As someone who actually owns a P9 I can confirm that the camera is excellent.

The aperture isn't as big a deal as certain reviewers are making out, as there are two sensors capturing light detail you can use a faster shutter speed to still capture a crisp shot - the lack of OIS isn't as bad as it's made out to be.

I'm actually quite impressed with the camera sensors on the Huawei P9. The pictures taken are really good quality in my personal opinon and the videos aren't too shabby either.

I was so exited when I first heard about 2 sensors and one of them being monochrome I just wish they'll have something like f1.8 aperture with ois next time.

really could have done a better demonstration of the aperture effect, went way too heavy and used it on glass. very difficult to get object separation on glass.

I own a p9 and I found a stabilizer function in the camera in filming mode. What is the difference between that and optical image stabilization?
