If the power set of A is a subset of the power set of B then A is a subset of B. We will prove this basic set theory result in today's lesson! It follows easily from the definition of subset and power set.
Thus, for sets A and B, we have that A is a subset of B if and only if the power set of A is a subset of the power set of B.
