This elevator replaced an old OTIS elevator that previously occupied this shaft, as proven by the remnant of the old call button that is still mounted on the wall next to the elevator. The new one appears to be a Schindler 6300 rather than 3300, which is another of those "modernization" model for replacing old elevators in existing shafts, based on the 3300. But nevertheless, it looks and runs like a typical 3300 anyway.
