Gosh! At last...Actually a proper catamaran sailing video, rather than endless images of sunsets and mixing smoothies.

This channel is so refreshing in that its 100% real and genuine. Its not clickbait youtube sailing couples fake and manufactured drama. Its not narcissism and T&A thumbnails.

I just felt compelled to thank you for going over the radar. So many channels skip this sort of content as it can be a bit boring, but it is great for those of us who are actually interested in the craft.

I really enjoy your videos. I learn more real-world sailing techniques from you than all other story-telling live-aboard cruisers channels. Thank you for all of the sail-trimming, navigation tips, where you are, where you are headed (and why) as well as how to avoid fishing nets, how to deal with a crappy Main Sheet system, etc. etc. etc.

Man I loved that boat! And it’s like the perfect size between having a really big yacht that needs a crew but small enough that you can run it without a crew. And I’ve seen other boats like this but this is the first one I’ve seen with a jacuzzi!!

You always have GREAT design suggestions. They are real-world suggestions, the boatbuilder should watch your videos.
I saw 20 things you did not like, and you were spot on.
I understand it is always a give and take with designs.
Enjoy your videos.

These are the best sailing reviews on YouTube. I'm excited to see your channel grow as it is well deserved. Keep up the good work!

Hope to meet you one day Igor. As a fellow sailor your “say it like it is” comments about the boats you are working on are real. It is very hard to find these production boats that fit every persons cruising needs. The small one percent comments you make about the ergonomics of each vessel are so important. The sailing abilities of each vessel even more so. I seriously hope these companies should listen to what you say. Unless you spend a couple of thousand miles on a boat you will never know. If I was you I’d send these companies a broad list of your findings and experiences. And charge them for that. As a 12 year mono hull live aboard and a Building Designer / Architect I see so many small improvements that would make these vessels so much better. As you do out there on the water. Look forward to buying you a beer one day. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers.

Excellent ... @33:00 and really appreciate the explanations of why the sails are deployed the way that they are ... and the comparison to how the mono-hulls would normally deploy sails. Thanks for posting.

Hi Igor. Just watching this video of yours, and I have mentioned in mast Furling Main Sails before with you, and probably mentioned how important they are for UV protection of Sailcloth and the ease of handling they offer. After having a ClassicMast and Stackpack on my last Sailboat, my need for in Mast Furling to be able to keep Sailing, due to disability became clear as did the need for a Custom Battenless Furling Msin, to dramatically reduce or even eliminate Main Sail Chafing Wear and Tear from the Battens. So my search for a Sailmaker that would make a Triradial Main, with thee Reinforced Reefing points started, and all of the responses I was getting were - Sorry, Se Only Do them with battens - eventually, I got to Precision Sails and they replied with - yes, we do them, and have made several, and as a postscript they said - By the way, we have found that Triradial Construction restores most of the Power Lost by not having Battens ! I’m not sure if I mentioned that bit before So for a Cruising Sail, to me they sound ideal, and because of the Triradial Construction, and reinforced Reefing points, their Service Life and Shape retention should be greatly extended as well. Hopefully that is useful information for some people, plus there is a good update, pretty much All Sailmakers today will make them, and I hope to have an experimental Sail for in Mast Furling, where the third Reef is specially constructed and so, it into two Staysail Reefs. It will probably take a few attempts to get working right and reliably though, but could be useful for heaving to in exceptionally strong winds ? Best Wishes, and thanks for the great Videos with their discussion points. Bob in Wales. 🤔🌟🌟🌟👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧⛵️

I will say you always have very much insight and Job at hand. Your crew are most likely to respect, but want to mutiny by the end of the trip! You are the best skipper in the mediterranean!!
