I love receiving hardcover copies from Book of the Month. I do the monthly subscription which is $14.99 and all of the books are hardcover. I love that I can get new releases before they hit the shelves, and an “add -on” book is only ever $10, so I honestly feel it is such a great deal for hard cover book copies.

I just finished it and it is definitely very thought provoking and was difficult to read at times. It is well done though regarding post partum issues, motherhood, dysfunctional families and grief as well, I would not call it a thriller per se but a psychological drama . I gave it 4⭐️

Glad you finally read this and liked it! I remember talking to you about it when you were pregnant and was like yeah you may not want to read it for a while lol. But in the future yes cause it’s so good! I’m so interested in this authors upcoming new book! Side note: your hair looks real nice 😊.

I just finished this last night and it's left me with so many questions unanswered. Glad I found a recent review to see someone else's insight. I just felt so sad that the ending left it like that I wanted more for Blythe. Definitely hard to read some parts and make me feel so emotional.Gah I wish there was a sequel to explain some stuff and see how Blythe is doing in the future.

I believe the ending is made up. Notice how Blythe always talks about herself in first person but in the final chapter Blythe is all of a sudden referred to in a third person.
Also what pages was she holding when she came to see Violet for the last time? Our attention is drawn to it, but we never learn. I think this is her retelling of the story. At least the last chapter. That she wrote a book about it.

I’ve been wanting to read this book for so long because I’ve heard such good reviews. I’m currently pregnant so I’m probably waiting even longer now lol

Hi, I am in Canada and BOTM is only $14.99? Is that for a book as well plus $10 per additional book? Thanks 😊

I enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read her next novel. As a mother, this one was a bit disturbing right?! 😅
