now i know i am late but let me give a whole analysis for who would win, so, for the War of the Worlds Tripod, they have, Heat rays, forcefield, maybe black smoke i am not sure and red weed, for the strider we have pointy legs, warp cannon and that machine gun thing i cant remember the name of, and so this would depend on one massive factor, is there disease? if yes, than eventually the combine will just have to wait so the aliens can get the cold and say, screw it, earth aint worth it anymore, if no, than the Aliens would mop the floor with the combine all because of their forcefields, people usually forget that when they see videos like these and comment that the singular strider can mop the floor with the tripods any day of the week but this is my analysis, no offense to anyone who disagrees
