Bloodborne: Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos Boss Fight (PS4/1080p)

I have to admire the design of this being. Bloodborne has some great designs but this one is easily my favorite. Makes me think of an angel with a lovecraftian twist which makes sense given the themes that the Great Ones are on a higher plane of existence.

I had no idea beating Gehrman would instantly end the game, so I never got to see this boss or the moon presence :(

There is a much bigger game being played behind this than just beasts and blood. Something much more sinister. One does not simply go from a plague turning people into beasts to Eldritch Abominations called "Daughter of the Cosmos".

Just saw someone on stream fight this boss, and it was glitching. In its second phase, all she did was spray blood until the guy got in close to attack. Then it headbutted the ground, and swung its tentacles. None of that lunging, flailing, or cosmic energy projectiles. 

This fight looks very different.

Anyway, cool design, and cool music.

Honestly, I wish this boss was the size of Midir of The Ancient Dragon. Would have made for an even more disturbing encounter imo

Try fighting this boss with 87 Insight. A whole lot harder than this.

Here the tip if you are one shot by that arcane attack: wear armors that have the highest arcane defense, I have about 350 arcane defense and that arcane attack does little damage to me which makes this fight a lot easier.

I killed this boss on the first try! I don't know why so many people say she's impossible. Martyr Logarius was way more cruel. Amygdala as well.

I never fought her on NG cause I didn't think the game would abruptly end without giving you the chance to go back to other places so I went in blind in NG+ against her. I had never seen a YouTube video or anything; I didn't even know what she looked like. I had heard that she was one of the harder bosses in the game, but I would say that I easily beat her. I did see pretty much all of her moves, too. Didn't have that glitch where if you put it in rest the bosses lose their move sets.

My level at the time was 131. Her charge attack was the only thing that gave me fits but staying close to her made her stop doing it. A lot of her moves are very similar to Amygdala. Tentacle swipe, head dropping down. All I did was bait her to dropping her head then wailed on it. Towards the end of the fight when she started draining my health, I got stuck between her tentacles that she stands on & I was able to repeatedly land charged R2 attacks with the long sword version of Ludwigs.

Maybe it's because I've been doing a lot of chalice dungeons & there are some seriously difficult bosses in there that it made this fight easier but I didn't find it hard at all. Before that I had just completed the cursed Ptumera dungeon so my wits were sharp at the time I suppose.

This bitch killed me well over 20 times before I was able to beat her. I had no answer for that long ranged aggressive dash she does... I just couldn't bring myself to slip it efficiently every time as it is my instinct to not simply horizontally sidestep, my instinct drives me to sidestep and slip around to the side to try and catch an angle on an opponent, that didn't work here and I kept catching her fucking shoulder in the face. So eventually I started trying to keep out of distance well enough away to provoke the rush and try and perfectly place a power spear thrust in her forehead for heavy single damage. Didn't always work perfectly and I didn't gauge distance right all the time and got hit square on a few times, but it was enough to catch her and push her into her final phase where I tried to create even more distance to provoke her flying rush and be able to fully see her soul arrow barrage and slip it. When she would flying rush I would run in and hit her with a running R2 strike and run away to distance myself again in a hit and run tactic. Messy but it got me the W.... Don't think I am as skilled or lvl'd as you unfortunately, had to do what I had to do.

I hate this boss so much. I've died 20 times now. I've gotten her down to 10%.. I tried to attack from far and close. But it's been 50 blood vials and no dice. I've even called help 2 times and my help died. I'm level 91! This is very discouraging!
