Lexus RX500h Luxury SUV Checked Out On Genting | YS Khong Driving.

The Lexus RX500h is a luxury SUV normally owned by successful people who want the finer things in life.
Thus, it is hardly a vehicle that would likely be driven hard up our favorite mountain, Genting Highlands, but since we were given a unit, courtesy of Lexus Klang, we kind of 'accidentally' found ourselves at the foot of the hill, so here is the video.

I must say, though, that should you want to have a bit of fun with it, you actually can.

Nothing beats a Lexus when it comes to comfort, reliability and durability. I test drove the RX500H in Sydney around 18 month ago, but can’t drive like Mr Khong. Driving like that in Sydney will guarantee jail time and lost of driver license

Like the previous gen RX, the stock suspension setup is adequate even when hp is pushed to 460hp, 600Nm. The more the hp, the better it handles.
The RX may feel comfortable and clumsy but Lexus did a good job making sure it can perform. I suspect they did alot of testing at Nurburgring.

Please, please use the track for car test / review rather than public roads. Driving at speed and racing line maneuvers are a danger to public safety.

That’s unusually coarse from a Lexus powertrain. Maybe it was the engineers’ intention to give the RX sporty vibes but I wish it was refined as silk. 😂

Sadly this hybrid system is like mild hybrid. It can’t run like EV for long. And ambient light is too dimmed. But I believe it is still nice car. Yet less powerful than GLE450 though.

This PREMIUM TOYOTA is bloody expensive 😂. RM500K something. Add another RM30K you can get NEW MERCEDES GLE450 AMG LINE and BMW X5. 😂😂😂
