New Duke Initiative Aims to Prevent Bird Strikes on Campus

After being alerted to the problem by students, Duke University took action to prevent bird deaths from occurring at one of the engineering buildings on campus, commonly referred to as CIEMAS. Officials installed small, dotted stickers on many of the windows to make the glass visible to the birds.
