Miss match socks work great. No cost and old ornament like from yard sale or thrift shop makes each one costing between .00 and .25 each. I also use wobble eyes

That is such an easy cute idea. Michaels had the clear plastic balls.

When I was in elementary school my mother would help me make an ornament for my teacher every year. She got a bunch of sequins in colors that she wanted and a hanger also a Styrofoam ball some ribbon and a great big box of common pins. We sat there taking turns putting each sequin on the ball with a common pin in the middle. I tell you it took hours however they were some of the most beautiful Christmas ornaments I have ever seen!! My talent lies in cooking baking and candy making but I used to craft and I loved it. Now my hands are severely disabled but I still think there are things that you have done that I can do especially the things like the snowman I can't do fine motor skills things but I can tell my caregiver where to put things and she can be my hands at times because we're going to make decorations for my house and her house. She is from Africa but her son was born here and he's never had a real American Christmas. She does not get the urgency of getting the tree up and the house decorated! And this will be the first real true American Christmas her four-year-old son has ever had and he is more than excited! So I've got to get her moving I wanted the tree up two weeks ago it's always tomorrow and Tomorrow Never comes. I can't put the tree up myself so I told her tomorrow you will put the tree up and I have a Walmart order coming for $250 worth of goodie making supplies and supplies to make turtles and fudge and things like that as well. This is my first Christmas in 10 years because I am I guess middle-aged but every person on both sides of my family is deceased. But now I can celebrate Christmas and I'm going over the top. I just ordered Santa Claus ho ho toilet paper! :-)

This is TRUE inspiration! I would not cut the 2nd sock tho.... give a shot to folding or rolling it to make the oveesized brim knit hat that was popular when i was young. Also I have made hats from old sweatshirts and fleece blankets or soft throws. Just glue into shape of tube that will fit your ornament head. Tie on n add a piece of pine or tinsel garland
