Polyphenom by Ocean Swift Synthesis - Plugin Overview - Additive & Subtractive Synthesis Combined

Hello Internet!

Today we're looking at a new plugin called Polyphenom by Ocean Swift Synthesis, It's an Additive and Subtractive hybrid with a really wicked sounding FM! It's great for pads, ambient stuff, soundscapes, but also sharp FM leads. Let me know what you guys think in the comments!

Hey. Nice walk through. Try using the additive OSC to modulate the pitch (FM) of an OSC in another VST and then modulating the harmonics. I sometimes use the additive organ in Bitwig as an FM modulator since it sounds great to bring in and out different harmonics.

Sounds like the kawai K5000 has finally come to a software plugin, though this has the benefit of FM and much faster and better DSP. Still though, that synth was extremely capable and came with a 128 band comb filter.

Well, this is windows only, and I run a Mac, so why couldn’t I also do this in something like Zebra, from U-He?
