I found myself right in this place. I breathe in the cool moist air with the smell of fallen leaves and wood. I exhale warm steam, which joins the fog hovering over the lake.
Dew drops slowly roll down my cloak, and every step on the wooden platform is echoed by a dull thud and a quiet creak of old boards.
My hands are a little cold from the coolness, but my heart continues to pump blood slowly, as if it adjusts to the silence of the moment.
My hand reaches out to the door and wraps around the cold wet door handle, I enter an old barn, in which there is a boat covered with an awning, dusty, with dried crisp leaves, reminiscent of warm days.
I roll up the dusty awning and jump into the boat, and she, swaying a little like a baby's cradle, thereby welcomes me.
I untie the edge of an old rope, skillfully thrown over a thick log, and gently pushing off from the edges, I swim out, dropping into the water heavy, with stripped paint and slightly dried wooden oars.
Inhale, exit, body movement forward and backward, slowly pulling of the oars to yourself, without breaking the silence, only smooth lines of ripples of water behind the boat. I am in a moment of contemplation of nature, I am in a moment of silence, I feel alive, I am happy.

I would love to just spend a month in this cabin in the deep country, watching the mist roll down the steep flanks of the mountains. The alpine mountains, the placid lake, all of it is so calming. I can almost smell the cool scent of wet earth and woody trees, almost hear the lapping of water over wet leaves and stones, almost feel the spray of mist on my face.

I remember things....it moves me to hidden places inside of myself, my past, men i've loved, people who are gone in the afterlife, and joy too. It's moving, way too moving for me to work on. But i must be in a sensitive set of mind right now, could be why. Anyways, it's wonderful. Music unleashes so much of me, always had, always will.
