Kamala Harris SECURES Democratic Nomination

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Kamala Harris has secured the support of enough Democratic delegates to become her party’s nominee against Republican Donald Trump, according to an Associated Press survey, as top Democrats rallied to her in the aftermath of President Joe Biden’s decision to drop his bid for reelection.

The quick coalescing behind Harris marked an attempt by the party to put weeks of internecine drama over Biden’s political future behind them and to unify behind the task of defeating Trump with just over 100 days until Election Day. Prominent Democratic elected officials, party leaders and political organizations quickly lined up behind Harris in the day after Biden’s exit from the race and her campaign set a new 24-hour record for presidential donations on Monday."

I'm a bit sick of Cenk acting like he knew how any of this was going to play out. I've left 10 comments on TYT in the last month alone about how naive Cenk was to be talking about an "open convention, " knowing they would IMMEDIATELY "install" Kamala Harris without any input from a single person outside the inner circle. He was either trying to generate a false sense of enthusiasm to garner views for the channel or he was just completely wasted to think Kamala wasn't going to be the nominee within 36 hours of Biden's announcement.

Kamala is doing the process. It would be crazy for Kamala or anyone else to wait until the convention to sure up all the delegates. If she didn’t try and actually waited until the convention to start talking to delegates that would be stupid and I wouldn’t want anyone who did that to win/run.
