Here's how you fix the steel problem. Voluntarily agree to reduce US steel exports by 30%, like SK did, then make the Canadian dollar go back up to normal USD parity and you won't lose a cent. How can Trump refuse Canada the same permanent exemption from the Tariffs that he gave SK? SK also agreed to increase US auto import limits from 25K per year to 50K, so you'll also have to do the same. If Canada volunteers to do those two things, how could Trump refuse? Granted Canadian steel exports to US are about twice SK's but the principle is still the same.
