I'm part Irish, English, Scottish, German, and live in Marietta, Ga.-and still Celtic. I took Irish, American, and British Folklore at GSU and loved the experience; I found out that I knew about different songs and music before our professor played the records on his old record player in a case (similar to my old father's typewriter case). I got A's in them in Ga. Folkore, but a B in Irish Folklore because I didn't get a chance to write a paper as an underclassman then, but Dr. Burrison let everyone write a paper for extra credit and I wrote 3 papers for the other 3 classes. I think schools should teach folklore as a subject.
