I tried growing them in an egg carton, they sprouted but boy are they delicate. Even a gentle spray to keep the soil moist will topple the young seedlings. Their root systems are hair thin and so fragile. I reckon I’ve lost 40% of the seedlings just by looking at them (joke, it was the watering).

I got mine to sprout in 5 days . Used 2 blue plastic containers from those swifter mop pads and the clear lids poked holes in even pattern on the lid and on one of the blue containers pokeholes in the bottom. And one without holes to hold water 💧 vermiculite 2 inches on the top layer and for the bottom organic soil .Used a regular heating pad on low setting for all day and a half hour break before bed and turn back on. 5 days they were at the tip of the holes and loving it. Temperature was high 70s and low 80s
