We spent 7 nights at the Villa del Palmar Islands of Loreto resort in 2020. About 30 minutes south of Nopolo. Probably the best (restful) vacation we have had in years. Beautiful resort and waters. Plan to go back next year. Nice video.

It's hard to believe I have driven past this paradise twice, when I drove to Cabo San Lucas, but it is on my bucket list and will visit soon, perhaps this spring. Thanks for the reminder!

Loreto is in my heart, we visited this Pueblo Mágico in May 2021. We stopped in Loreto on our drive down from the SF Bay Area to Cabo San Lucas 👍🏽 and stopped there again on our way back home. Tfs.

Loreto is beautiful and I did truly love coming here-BUT FLY FISHERMAN BEWARE- unless you have a boat or spend $100’s of dollars each time to rent a guide boat, or dive 40 minutes north, nearly 100% of all the “accessible shoreline” of Loreto Bay is now classified a marine sanctuary and off limits to fly fishing. So your thoughts of getting up early and walking down to the shore to peacefully wet your fly line and watch a gorgeous sunrise will be met with nasty harassment and you WILL BE treated with the same disdain as a commercial fisherman-even if you practice catch and release~ Sad!
