Scott Bernard is a respected touring and recording guitarist who has spent the last 8-years touring with pop icon Kenny Loggins. In our Truetone Lounge interview, we cover his early years, his move to Tennessee, and how he established himself as a working guitarist in Music City. Bernard also demonstrates his Melancon guitar, his touring pedal board, and the proper way to play the guitar parts for "Footloose."

Just checking out videos from Kenny Loggins farewell tour this year and again enjoyed Scott’s way excellent guitar work. He really influenced Kenny’s band when he joined imho. It got even more guitar oriented. The first time I saw them together (2010?) they played a Cream-style rendition of Crossroads lol. Have probably seen the Scott version of Kenny’s show at least 5 times. Probably going to go to this final tour too. Best wishes to Scott in future endeavors

Just saw the Nashville show Friday night. Scott was phenomenal…completely blown away. Kenny’s whole band was top notch. I’d like to know if possible the other guitar player’s name that plays next to Scott onstage. Thanks so much for this interview.
