Brothers and sisters, most of us are rejoicing of the fact that the illegal, immoral and criminal invasion and occupation of Afghanistan by the USA and its allies is finally over, alhamdoullilah. We also are happy that most Afghanis are satisfied with this major development. We also are pleased that for the most part, the Taliban leadership seemed to have softened on some of their most extreme salafi/wahabi positions. However, we should not be blind to the fact that these brothers have many very important short-comings. Let's make dua for the peoples of Afghanistan and ask Allah swt to give guidance to the Taliban.
