JOHNNY JUMP UP - BEST IRISH DRINKING SONG

Показать описание
"Johnny Jump Up" is one of the first songs I heard at a Renaissance festival. It was sort of like a Celtic Top 40 song. Everyone was singing it and had their own version.
My first recording of it was with the Brobdingnagian Bards. It was inspired by Christy Moore. He had a brilliant, simple version that you might expect to hear in an Irish pub. The perfect Irish drinking song version.
When I went solo, I changed it up. I made it more Rhythm & Folk from my musical experience of living in New Orleans. This new version is still one of my favorite songs to sing.

GUNN RUNNERS CLUB
For years, I've given away HUNDREDS OF HOURS of free content in the form of songs, podcasts, blogs, videos and more. I love sharing all of this stuff freely. But you can't make a living on free.
That's why I started the GUNN RUNNERS CLUB on Patreon. This is a simple way for you to support what you love. If you enjoy my music, podcasts, videos or whatever, you can show your support for as little as $1 per month. Or you can get full-on behind-the-scenes access for $5 per month. The benefits grow the more your pledge.
But ultimately, it's not about getting stuff. Patreon and the Gunn Runners Club are a way for you to keep me creating for your entertainment. And unlike the Kiss Army, this actually makes an impact on my life. You're feeding my family and cats. You're helping me to pay my bills and clothe my children. You're allowing me to be a full-time artist, like I've been since 2005.
