Having just watched a segment on how this song came to be, it is a must feature. The level and sheer amount of thought/energy/creativity that went into this single piece of music is not only ultra-inspiring but reminds me why I love music so much. The song itself is amazing but it's the communication between the human beings, the meeting of all the minds, and the space in between that makes this one so special. It's what music should be.

Justin Vernon is one of my handful of musical heroes. Right up there with Stevie Ray Vaughn and James Murphy, he can do no wrong. His plight of being human is one that I resonate with. One that criss-crosses between glory and tragic, tightness and vulnerability, happy and sad, and the everyday kaleidoscope of unknown's that make up the journey of being human.

Been a minute. Happy to be writing again.
