You can also do this with Green Goblin and ultimate green goblin, just swap between them in the character menu and eventually it'll work.

You can also do this by playing as classic Thor, charge your lightning and switching back to regular Thor

I can do that with any character. It's because it fails to load your character and just uses the most easy thing to load which is that dude

So funny fact this is most likely lag as I play on PS3 for this game and whenever a character change fails for whatever reason (in my case lag) it switches you to the citizen as this is most likely the default character.

It also works if you just switch between characters quickly but the one down side is you can’t switch out

How it works is that choosing a character then picking a character with the same name in the text messes with the selection menu thus changing into a citizen

My 6-year-old did this on accident and was scarred he broke the game. I had just learned about it the day before, so I told him it was a known glitch. I jokingly told him since he discovered a glitch on his own, he's officially a gamer. He beamed with pride. 😂

Hey, maybe you will never read this, but there is a bug in that game that allows you to dive inside the walls and floor. If you select Ant-man and use his ability to become small while you're going up on the metro station stairs, you can suddenly fall to the ground. There is also a bug with Sabretooth that can repair vehicles if you target them with the dash.

This can happen with quite a few characters, I used to get it when swapping to stan lee from certain characters, its an interesting Easter egg but annoying when you just want to play
