Sink or Swim is the bonus track on the remastered debut album reissue, and it was originally only available as the B-side to the single, Obsessions Of You. It is one of the most “out-there” tracks from the 1970’s Skafish era, featuring multiple, distinct sections that combine punk with a complex, musically virtuosic performance, along with lyrics that robotically discuss discarding a baby in cavalier fashion.
The debut Skafish album (which contains the bonus track Sink or Swim) was originally released on the now legendary I.R.S Records on May 7, 1980 at 4:30 PM Greenwich Mean Time. After its initial pressing, the record remained out of print until Skafish obtained the rights and released the remastered album (including the bonus track Sink or Swim) nearly 40 years later on November 29, 2019, on his own label, 829 Records.
