using a coin to AFK is safer

This is a simple way to hold the joystick active on an Xbox controller so you can AFK - using a coin! If you are looking for a simple AFK hack for your gaming console's controller - this might do the job.

Back in my day, we had to use 50 rubber bands, lay the controller at an angle, shitty scotch tape, falling asleep while holding the trigger, now we just need a quarter XD

For anybody who doesn't want to use the toothpick for the RS (right stick), I recommend to get a small pice of tape, turn it inside out so all sides are sticky, put it in the RS and it'll keep looking the direction you'd like

How to AFK: Safer and Easier Edition:

Get a 1x1 LEGO Plate and place it in the joystick to hold the joystick in whatever direction you want. Hope it helped! 🙂

Edit: Here is some information I’m gonna dish out to you AFKer’s. This AFK Strat works with many controllers and does not cause drifting. In my spare time, I’ve tested this trick 60+ hours and the left control stick is fine and never drifts. As for Holding Down the Triggers on your Xbox 1 Controller, you can grab your 1x1 LEGO Plate and just follow what is done in the Video. 😃

It's actually better to afk by remapping the trigger to bumper then use an elastic band around the controller, this is because buttons wear down slower being held down for long periods of time than triggers.

Yeah, I used the toothpick over night and in the morning I saw half of it on the floor then I saw the other half was stuck right in the trigger, it took 2 and a half hours to get the bastard out

You can also use a rubber band or a hair tie and wrap it around you controller so it has restriction than put it on the button and it holds it down

Just use your headphones to pull your thumbstick back. No reason to shove something in your trigger

Edit: you can also put your controller upside down with the thumbstick at an angle but this method might not always work.

Or get a trigger stopper and make it on the normal setting, hold the trigger down, then change it to another setting to make it easier to click and it will be held down without a coin or toothpick
