3:35 And here is where you truly recognize Vincent Price, especially when he laughs, since it sounds like his laugh from the ending of Thriller.

What i really like about this scene is how Basil isn't fighting back against Ratigan physically at least but how it is a battle of reason vs emotion, as was seen in the movie; Ratigan and Basil wanted to prove who was smarter than whom, plus like Sherlock Holmes when he fought James Moriarty, i think Basil felt in part at least that he wasn't going to get out of this mess alive although a bit of him wanted to live but he just wanted to get rid of Ratigan so he could never harm another being again, but he also wanted to prove he was smarter then Ratigan hence why he stole Ratigan's bell, instead of fighting him, which would have caused to Ratigan to hurt him 3ven more because he knew there was no way he could defeat Ratigan (who was so furious he didnt even bother to think what was going on around him) but he could distract Ratigan long enough until the clock struck the hour and would cause him to fall to his death, so in the end Basil's reason defeated Ratigan's emotion

Plus I loved on how Basil used the bell that Ratigan used to kill his victims, to basically say to Ratigan it was his time to die

Something about those first few moments inside the clock with no extra music, just the sounds of clanking gears, clinking chains, and chiming clock hand (I assume that’s what that is) is just… Wow. It makes me feel so small, so trapped, so vulnerable. I NEED a 10 hour long version of it like NOW
