I'm sorry, I don't mean to troll but could someone share some insight. I actually found myself cheering for SC a couple of years because my school was stuck with a lousy coach we were stuck with for 5 years after he should have been fired and I like Steve Spurrier. Anyway, the burning question is this. SC has never won a national championship. SC's last conference title was in 1969. Why with 15 years between legends Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier is it that the best SC could do was SEC East? I mean beat Alabama when ranked number 1 once. You beat my team when we were ranked number 1. We ended up in the CFP and lost the national championship to, GUESS WHO. I'm just really curious about what's holding SC down.
