I spilled hot coffee by accident on my MacBook Air's keyboard, and it hasn't worked. The main issue is I can Shutdown and Restart my MacBook, but none of keys are working for me to enter my password to get in. I bought a Bluetooth keyboard and I can't use it. Reset SMC didn't quite work but deleting the *.plist file did work ✅
I had only the key "E" dysfunctionning on a Mid-2013 Macbook Air on Catalina
On my previous MacBook Air, I had the whole QWERTY section dysfunction but never found a solution until now.

Keyboard doesn’t work? Simply reboot and hold down the “Shift”, :Command” and “Option” keys - on a keyboard that does not work.

This is either trolling or utter incompetence.
