Kailh Blue vs. Cherry MX Blue Sound Comparison

The sound that comes from each switch seems to be up to the keyboard manufacturer, as different materials used for the base do change the sound and bottom out feel of the boards.

To me, the switches feel identical in actuation, but the bottoming out feels more solid on the Poseiden Z RBG (Kailh) than the Gamdias Hermes (Cherry MX), but that might have more to do with the materials used by each Gamdias and Thermaltake.

Honestly I like the Khail sound better. There's a bit more of a lower pitch to it and its less annoying I think.

I was debating getting a Kaihl blue keyboard (I have a Cherry MX blue) and I actually like the sound of the Kaihl ones better. your comparison was a huge help.

The pitch of the Kailh is higher but the sound is more spread than that of the Cherry

poor underatted gamdias hermes, they actually made a really good keyboard, gamdias hermes was the sturdiest & heaviest keyboard i've ever feel beside ducky and filco, nice comparison, and im agree with you, different mount plating will made the sound differ especially when bottoming out , can you do sound comparison without bottoming out :)

I just picked up the poseidon z RGB with blue swtiches, and I must this keyboard is terrible. Every switch feels so different from the other. Its very inaccurate and inconsistent. For example my "C" key feels heavier than my "E" key. I will be returning this keyboard and shelling out a few extra bucks for a cherry mx blue keyboard.
