I traveled to Ukraine last year in July.. Beautiful country.. Very friendly, helpful and nice people.. One of the most underrated countries in Europe! I stayed in Podil in Kieve and I've been to Odessa and Lviv.. Definitely coming again!
Big love from Dubai!

Hi Peter, I am an American girl teaching English in Lviv, love your videos, my only experience in Kyiv was in 2014 2 days after the Maiden square revolt, i stayed in the hotel on the square still smelling burned tires and watching people clean up the square, they were playing music and serving tea, i was in shock at the vibe 2 days after so much violence, but i am in Lviv now almost 2 years and wish i had moved here 20 years ago, i am in love with these people!!

Since lockdown ive been thinking of new places to go and travel. I met a lady online from Ukraine which as made me consider going for a few months and these videos make me admire the people and the country so much more. Ukraine is now on the highest priority to visit when i am able too. Id love to visit my friend whom lives in Kyiv. I cant wait till all this corona business is done as i might have to visit Ukraine for a long vacation.

Much love from the UK, you guys are the hidden jewel on this world.

Peter, your insights are very deep and very precise. To see what many can't is a sort of gift. Always like your videos

`Bursa` in the middle ages meant a) low religious school; b) a dormitory for poor students (bursaks) . In soviet times slang it meant 'low techinal school for bad educated teenager'.

This guy, hands down, has the best videos of anyone who has ever done Ukraine clips because he understands the unique depth that country has. He takes you into the belly of the real Ukraine. Great job Peter!

I like the idea that you said in the previous episode that there aren't "no cycling" signs everywhere at that there is freedom. I've been thinking more and more lately that I need to find a place where personal freedom still exists, where common sense exists, where the govt doesn't have control over every single moment of my life. I'm Australian, I currently live in the UK. Both those countries are bound heavily by what you can or can't do. I mean even in London there are parks that have "do not sit on the grass" signs on them. Both Oz and the UK are highly taxed, over-regulated, fines for this and that and everything you can think of. I just want a place I can sit on the grass, have a cigarette, and read a book in peace. It's such a simple thing to want.

Показал глубинку и спальные районы, но и центр был, видео крутое очень👍
Всегда нравится как он про Киев снимает, но надо отдельно центральные районы снимать и отдельно спальные, не скрывать хорошего и плохого а все показывать как есть

the landscape and chaotic structure of streets makes kiev very itneresting....its very unpredictable you never know where you'll end up ...also it blends very well with nature..like all ukrainian cities
