The Old Stock Screener on TradingView: Tutorial

Today we're going to show you the basics of the stock screener. Keep in mind our screener tools can also be used for Forex and Cryptocurrencies - more videos about this coming in the future.

In this video we show you hot get started with the screener tools, where to find them, and all of the sorting options available to you. We then look into equity markets where we show an example of how the screener can be used to scan for specific trade or investment ideas.

Can you guys adjust the 30, 60, 90, 120 and 1 year new highs scans to give the user the option to scan for price while it is APPROACHING those highs from below? Like being able to detect stocks that are within 1-10% of a 30, 90 or 1 year high.

Why the add alert button under screener is now removed. It was very helpful request tradingview team to please add back.

Please expand the screener to support scripting. Current technical filters only consider last candle of the period.

Hey thanks for the video, I am having serious issues withTradingview screener and unfortunately the support team is terrible and have not been able to resolve my issue for over a month, so I was wondering if you could help. About a month ago when the market opened all my screener results would disappear and current sessions results started to show, now when market opens my screener keeps previous days results as well as current session results, show previous session results is unticked so that's not the issue. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks heaps.
