🇲🇾 Bukit Bintang 💫 heart & pulse of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia - Top eat and see hand picked by a local

Bukit Bintang, stylised as Bintang Walk or Starhill, the latter being a translation of the Malay name) is the shopping and entertainment district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It encompasses Jalan Bukit Bintang (Bukit Bintang Road in English) and its immediate surrounding areas. The area has long been Kuala Lumpur's most prominent retail belt that is home to many landmark shopping centres, al-fresco cafés, bars, night markets, food street, mamak stalls as well as hawker-type eateries. This area is popular among tourists and locals, especially among the youths.

In June 2021, the local municipal and authority, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), has created a Shibuya-style pedestrian crossing at the junction of Bukit Bintang, located in front of the iconic 'Mekdi' Bukit Bintang outlet, just below the KL Monorail Line. This is done to increase the walkability in the area.

Watching you eat and all the noises you made, my partner and I had to go and get a room, ..kidding lol....we didnt get the chance to go to Bukit Bintang when we were visiting Kula Lumpur, , , someone said not very safe at night...Obviously wrong info...what a pity..maybe on our next trip...

CK, was just there at Bukit Bintang! Every visit to KL over the last 20 years includes a couple trips to W.A.W. Must haves...fried rice, so good. Butter prawns, not the one with the floss eggs, other one. A steamed grouper. And of course the bbq chicken wings! They should sell them by the bucket load. Thanks for your vids, using them on our way through Kuching, Ipoh, Melaka, and JB. I have to go home and diet! 🐷
