I don't have the option to use the plugin, instead an empty window will open with a proposal to add or delete, when I click on the button, a window will open offering to download language models.

Hi again. Do you know how to create an own model let's say for study. Documents are my information what I should lern. And work with GPT4ALL to train that. Also, how can I train an own model with GPT4ALL. Is that possible?
Starting with a base LLM and add my own data? Thank you for information about that.

Thank you for that video. I have added a short story as TXT-file in a folder. Added the folder under "LocalDocs Plugin (BETA) Settings.
My version is 2.4.12 of GPT4ALL and use Vicuna(large), selected also the checkbox under "Available LocalDocs Collections".
Asked a question, but didn't get the correct answer. Also I didn't get "processing PrivateDocuments...", just "processing....".
What can I do or can I reset all setting?

I don't know if I am doing this wrong, but I selected the Hermes model and followed instructions how they were laid out in the video and when I ask the bot to highlight main ideas it just starts randomly pulling information that is entirely irrelevant to the document I have within the folder (i.e. it discusses health and nutrition when the document is about psychology). Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello, What if I put 3 books of more than 500+ Pages in folder and then gives that path. Will it work? Or this function has limitation of how much it can scan the documents.

You should take this video down. This app is garbage. its doc retrieval functionality is worthless, even using gpt4 with API key and long context lengths.
