Hands down one of the most underrated bands

Out of every GK song I’ve listened to, THIS is the one that hit me the hardest. The melody, the lyrics, everything about it is just beautiful. It makes me feel a sense of both sadness and comfort.

This part actually made me start tearing up, but not in the same way that Madeleine did. Madeleine made me tear up due to the story the lyrics tell, but this one just..resonated with me ( and of course, there’s also the part of not having cried for a few weeks ). It touched me on a personal level that very few songs in general have managed to.
It’s impressive how, despite the more upbeat songs they usually make, these guys can also make such beautiful, soul-touching songs. Genuinely love this band so much.
