The two acts are mutually exclusive. You're either covered under the Longshore Act, or you're covered under the Florida Workers' Compensation Act. In order to be covered under the Longshore Act, you must meet the situs and status requirements. If you do not meet those requirements, then you are covered under the Florida Workers' Compensation Act.
