The new tent seems to still be spacious enough for your needs and packs up smaller than the lonerider tent. No shelter for the bike though. Good choice moving on to a new site, it was much better.

I'm a biker too at 58 years old i make camping last year for a first time in my god what i loosing for so many years!!! Nothing compares moto travel and camping near beaches or lakes in Greece!!! This year i got better staff and more than a 5 days to enjoy...

Good to see you back out again. The leaches, we had them when I was a kid, literally had to scrap them off my legs several times from swimming in the river. Bloody mess. The Nortent, innovative designs. Sevral buds have them. Polycotton material single wall on some. Takes a couple winter cycles to tighten up the material. Up north condensation is issue. Seem well made. I been on their site, several look promising. Price here is good. Small issues nothing bad. The river looks like a good place to wet a line. No crocs? Time lapse did well. You know it works. I have an almost 40 yr old Chrysilas North Face down bag which I use much the same way. rectangular like a down quilt. Kept me warm many a nite. These new mummy designs suck. No foot room, can't open them up. Pads have came a long way in compactness but aren't anywhere near as tough as my old Thermarests. Congrats on getting to go to the highest mountains. Interesting. My buds Dave and Tony, ( Nugget), made it there just a while back. MADTV, your Aussie cousins. Safe travels. Be ready for madness in the communities and heading out there.
